Across the U.S. and around the world, conscientious restaurants and other businesses are taking a stand against the cruelty of foie gras production, and hundreds have pledged not to serve this inhumane product.

Concerned citizens can play a major role in preventing the suffering of ducks and geese by contacting local restaurants and other food establishments, and urging them not to sell foie gras. Some chefs, have been educated by concerned citizens, but continue to serve this diseased duck liver despite the inherent cruelty of force feeding. Please contact these cruel estabishments, and urge them to stop profiting from animal abuse.

Other establishments have been contacted by humane advocates and are beginning to make changes. While these establishments have not yet made a firm commitment to permanently eschewing foie gras, the removal of the item from their menu is a step in the right direction.

Many restaurants, after learning of the horrors the birds raised for foie gras endure, have pledged to never serve it in their establishment. Please show your support for their compassionate decision by patronizing these restaurants that have made the humane pledge not to sell foie gras.
